Yeah, I guess ovo Aside from the fact that in traditional art I have to use the colors I have available instead of being able to pick any like in digital, I do traditional art the same way as the digital. Same overdone colorfulness and everything :,) Thought I tend to blend the colors more in traditional art.
What? Why would it bother me, I'm honored you liked my work so much ;A;
ah, cool, not many artists can do their traditional work the same as their digital. and yay for overdone colorfulness, I love it.
and well, I feel like I can come off as spammish or bothersome when I sort though and comment and fav on a ton of stuff all at once on one artist, and I don't want to be overwhelming, so I limited my comments and favs. but glad the comments and such didn't come off as that and honored you >3<
I think people who would be bothered by someone who loved their work so much they'd go on a comment rampage thought their whole gallery are just way too conceited... It's fine if they don't have the time to reply to everything at once, but thinking of it as a bother? I mean, why are they even here if having people interested in their work is bothersome?
lol, well, I've had it happen, but yeah, I agree with you there. if they don't want comments, then they can disable them
The whole point of posting here is supposed to be for getting views and comments
I'm not censoring you nor anything, though ;v; Don't get me wrong, I'm just saying what I do.
Okay, enough bitchin'. Weeeell I guess I have to agree this isn't very good. The color are strong yet it's not bright. Colorful, yes, but it's not glowing like I think it supposed to be. I don't know if this is the scanner's fault or the actual pic isn't far from this. But if you think you want to call traditional a quit, well I can't say anything more. When it comes to art you really have to do what you love afterall.
I thought you would comment on the actual coloring when you said "it's not good", because, well, I did go over the lines a bunch of times because my brush was bad and the other one I had was too thick.
The actual picture is actually light years away from this. Many shadings have disappeared here, among other things. In here her hair barely have any shadings, but in the paper they're very clear, and even have a bit of gradient. Where it's better or not I can't tell, but it's definitely way different.
But about "glowing colors", the media I used - which wasn't even supposed to be used the way I did - is limited in that, because they're just really cheap pens in 12 fixed colors. You can control at least pressure with color pencils, and they blend well, but with this I had to struggle to even get the shading to stand out from the rest orz
Considering how things went, I honestly was satisfied with the result merely because it was way better then I thought possible when I started.
